District Benevolent Fund Board Meeting Held Under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Sahiwal Niaz Ahmad Mughal
A meeting of the District Benevolent Fund Board was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Sahiwal, Mr. Niaz Ahmad Mughal. The purpose of the meeting was to review and approve cases related to the welfare of government employees.
In the meeting, 1,193 cases related to scholarships, marriage grants, funeral expenses, and monthly financial assistance from the Benevolent Fund were reviewed and approved.
Mr. Niaz Ahmad Mughal thoroughly examined the cases and directed the concerned officers to ensure the timely disbursement of financial dues to government employees, particularly before Eid-ul-Adha. He emphasized that it is the fundamental right of government employees and the responsibility of the relevant departmental officers to ensure that there are no delays in this process.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner General stated that the district administration is taking all necessary steps for the welfare of government employees, who are a valuable asset to the state. He added that any delay in granting their rightful entitlements as a recognition of their services is unacceptable.
He instructed that, in the future, such applications should also be processed promptly to avoid any hurdles or delays in providing the employees with their legitimate rights.
The meeting was attended by CEO Education Tanveer Ghazali, CEO Health Dr. Majeed Niazi, Superintendent Malik Mushtaq Ahmad, and Muhammad Amjad Farooq.
