A ceremony was held in the office of Chief Executive Officer (Education) Tanveer Ahmed Ghazali for the distribution of computers and UPS systems to afternoon schools. The event was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Mr. Niaz Ahmed Mughal. Computers were distributed to seventeen institutions.
Statement of CEO Education
On this occasion, the ADC General and the Chief Executive Officer stated that this initiative reflects the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Minister for Education, Mr. Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan, and the Secretary of the School Education Department, Mr. Khalid Nazir Wattoo — a vision to equip students with modern education in accordance with the demands of the contemporary era. The distribution of computers and laptops is a step in this direction.
So far, 67 afternoon schools have been provided with computers, and the day is not far when every child will have access to this facility.
